Preliminary task: Song Selection and Genre

We were torn between two songs to use for the MV, Koi Aanay Wala Hai by Strings & Ikisvi Sadi by Biryani Brothers. Both have their own distinct vibe and emotional depth. However, after listening to both songs a couple of times, we ultimately landed on Ikisvi Sadi, since its lyrics resonate deeply with feeling misunderstood and isolated from those around you, which is also a genuine and relatable issue of this era.

As for the genre, the MV is a psychological drama, with elements of an indie/alternative aesthetic. The video delves into the protagonist's struggles with isolation and feeling misunderstood, leading to mental health issues such as hallucinations. She finds solace in these hallucinations since they serve as a coping mechanism for her harsh reality. She feels disconnected from those around her, including her own mother. The psychological approach invites viewers to empathize with her unseen battles, blending raw emotion with a haunting, moody tone typical of indie music videos.
