Final Portfolio: Production Schedule

 Day 1: The FarmHouse

Our first day of filming was set at a beautiful farmhouse, the exterior of which provided the perfect rustic and outdoorsy backdrop we were looking for. We all arrived together at around 3:30 to get accustomed to the location and set up before everyone else showed up. We had asked the cast to reach around 4 so that we could film during broad daylight. During the crucial 30 minutes before their arrival, we all scouted and decided upon which shot to film where, along with the initial framing.

Most of the cast reached around 4:30, which meant we were set to shoot! Without wasting any time, we got right into it, with Muhjah directing everyone on how exactly to act and Dua and me participating in some of the initial scenes. It was an exciting experience, as we got to interact with different people and of course, finally got to see our vision for the music video come to life. Preceding the shoot, it began to drizzle, but luckily for us, the sky cleared up just as we reached, and filming went according to plan.

Our plan for wrapping up around 7pm worked out perfectly! Not only did we wrap up filming, but just as we were filming Muhjah's final scenes, we were again met with a downpour. While it was a close call, it was a treat to enjoy the rain after we were all done for the day.

Day 2: Muhjah's house

We all agreed on filming the remainder of the scenes at Muhjah's house. I reached around 1pm, and while Dua was on the way, Muhjah got ready for her solos. Dua had the idea of filming our second preliminary video since we were all already together. Luckily, she already had an amazing vision, so we immediately got to work, trying to get it done before filming for the final project. While it took longer than anticipated to film the preliminary task, we were glad to have wrapped it up, still having a good amount of time for the main music video.

We all worked together on making the photo wall, which turned out better than we had expected. Yes, a little time-consuming, but you know, all good things take time. As we were done filming Muhjah's clips for that scene, Dua had to leave around 5pm due to family commitments. Though Muhjah and I were bummed she had to leave early, we greatly appreciated Dua's help with lighting and setting up, along with guiding the quick preliminary shoot.

Muhjah and I carried on with the remaining scenes, including the burning of the photograph (my personal favourite) and the bathroom scene. By 7:30 pm, we had officially wrapped up filming, thanks to Muhjah's outstanding acting, which saved us significant time and storage by minimizing the need for reshoots.
