Final Portfolio: Audience Feedback
Once we had the rough cut, we decided to show it to our close friends to get their crucial feedback and gauge their initial reactions to see what they interpreted from the MV.
While the majority of the audience was able to follow the storyline correctly, which was a huge relief, the ending sparked some debate, which is exactly what we had hoped for, as we had deliberately left it open for interpretation. In the final shots of the protagonist in the garden with everyone, some friends saw it as a moment of reflection and reminiscence, while others felt sadness. We realised that the audience was able to resonate with it in their own unique way, which was very encouraging for the three of us, and that some ambiguity can be a powerful way to connect with the audience.
